Hey there! Today I am doing an interview with a writer/blogger friend Julia Nelson! (My questions are in bold and Julia’s answers are normal.)
Check Julia’s blog to find out about her: https://www.julianelsonauthor.com/
What have you learned while blogging that has helped you in your walk with God?
During my blogging journey, I have learned that God uses the little things for His big things. He has used my small blog (where I will no longer be posting) and my articles on The Rebelution to bring glory to Himself. Sometimes, I wonder if I’m meant to be a writer. Sometimes, I wonder if God will really use me. But He has!
I love your answer and the truth behind it! I look forward to following your new blog and see where God leads you in your writing.
Do you have a favorite snack while blogging?
Apples! They’re so juicy and refreshing–and healthy! I also enjoy eating cookies and crackers!
What is your favorite writing exercise?
My favorite exercise would probably be word sprints. It’s so fun to write with other people and stay accountable.
Yes, writing sprints are so helpful!
Where do you see your blog in 5 years?
In five years, I see myself as an improved blogger who is still actively serving her readers. I see my blog alive with comments and people having so much fun and getting a lot out of my blog. It’s my goal to always serve my readers, answering any questions they have, and responding to all of their comments!
That’s wonderful and I hope that you and your readers are blessed through your blog.
What is your favorite song? Do you like to listen to music while writing?
My favorite song changes a lot, but I really like the song The Power of the Cross, by Keith and Kristyn Getty.
I’ve tried listening to music while writing. For some writers, it’s very relaxing. For me, it’s distracting. I tend to listen to the music instead of writing when I should be XD I love music so much, so maybe that has something to do with it.
I’ll have to check out The Power of the Cross. And thank you so much for doing this interview, Julia!
Thank you, A. Kaylee! It’s been a lot of fun!
